CHECK LIST FOR NON-SUBDIVISION LAND USE APPLICATIONS

To be checked and signed by Town Clerk/Treasurer and Applicant

 

A COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM, ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK AND FEES MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE TOWN CLERK, TOWN ENGINEER AND TOWN ATTORNEY BY noon ON THE FIRST OF THE MONTH (one month prior to the Plan Commission meeting at which the application will be heard).

NOTE: If all required checklists are not completed and materials are not submitted in a timely fashion your request is not considered complete and the Plan Commission will not acknowledge it or take action on it at its next meeting.

 

 

REZONING APPLICATION:

1.         Town Application form.

2.         Current list of adjacent landowners

3.         Stamped, unsealed letters to adjacent landowners

4.         County ½ section map showing affected property and all contiguous landowners

5.         Copies of all papers submitted to the County

6.         Farm Plan with completed checklist, materials and agreement on Town fees and costs. (exclusive ag rezone only)

Note:  To rezone exclusive ag land, a Farm Plan and related conservation easement is required.  Also, more information than what is listed may be required by Town representatives to process Farm Plan approval applications and or prepare required conservation easements.

MAJOR SUBDIVISIONS:

There are four related Town ordinances:  Subdivision, Roads, Driveway and Impact Fees.  Copies are available for $20.00/packet.

 

CONCEPT:

1.         Town Application

2.         Current list of adjacent landowners

3.         Stamped, unsealed letters to landowners

4.         Map of proposed development

5.         County ½ section map showing affected property and all contiguous landowners

6.         Any other information regarding proposed plans for property

7.         A set application fee is not required, but professional review and related costs must be reimbursed to the Town in accordance with its ordinance on application fees and professional review fees for subdivision activities in the Town.

 

EXCEPTIONS TO TOWN SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE DESIGN STANDARDS

This is usually in conjunction with a plat or CSM application; if not, additional information may be required.
