§ 85-1. Statutory authority.

Pursuant to §§ 66.0113, 287.81 and 23.50 to 23.85, Wis. Stats., the Town of Troy enacts the following chapter.

§ 85-2. Prohibited acts.

A person who does any of the following shall pay a forfeiture as provided in Chapter 39, Citations, of this Code, plus costs, as authorized by § 23.54(3)(i), Wis. Stats.:

A. Deposits or discharges any solid waste on or along a highway or on any other public property, unless in a receptacle designed for solid waste storage located along said highway or on said public property; or

B. Permits any solid waste to be thrown from a vehicle operated by that person.

§ 85-3. Enforcement.

The Town Constables and St. Croix County Sheriff Deputies are hereby designated as enforcing officers within the meaning of the statutory citation procedures and are duly authorized to issue citations and take other actions as authorized by §§ 23.50 to 23.85, Wis. Stats.
